A vegetal, figurative atmosphere, between jungle and garden, where the jumble of grasses, plants and their yellow leaves contrast with a background painted in a contemporary way, with drips and splashes, in an energetic style mixing green earth tones and turquoise. The complexity of the natural forms, inspired by nature, and in particular, by the fragrant verbena bushes yellowing in the garden on a bright late autumn day, is the subject of this painting. This work is done with a modern, expressive pictorial writing, but the artist used the classic technique of glazes, those thin layers of transparent acrylic that give depth and richness to the tones and forms.
