Pink roses in a vase. Modern gestural impasto painting of flowers of soft colors, soft pinks and pale greens, céladon, warm white, with small touches of transparent vivid blue.
Carried out with a palette knife, in generous strokes, this floral artwork is a nod to Rococo and the french Louis XV style, ornamented, light, elegant, Dionysian.
This style draws its inspiration from nature, through the use of floral motifs.
The ornamentation is the only pretension of this work flowered with roses on a pale green background.
