Pure abstract #3 – “The turquoise leaf”, mixed media on paper, 20X20 cm

“The turquoise leaf” is part of the series of small abstracts pieces on paper.

I played with a strong contrast opposing orange red and teal blue, yellow, purple, mauve. This painting is slightly textured in places. Many glazes bring a depth of tones. I added graphical lines to balance the composition.

Begining 2018 with a “Pure abstract” series of mixed media paintings on paper in a “lyrical abstraction” style.
Colors, forms and shapes, graphism, lines and impasto. This one is a symphony of orange and turquoise, strong colors !

The artwork is painted on a special paper for mixed media.
